‘A warm recommendation…..’
After a very disappointing house hunting trip to France last year, we decided to try again, this time without using a French estate agent! We found the details of Maison de Campagne in the French Property News and contacted them. They were very helpful and explained how they work. We decided to go ahead and although we gave them a challenging budget, their local representative in Figeac found seven properties for us to view.
At the end of our first day of viewing, we saw a property that we liked and we made an offer for it. We speak French but we still needed help with contacting the Notaire by phone, fax and e-mail. Their local person was so helpful and we were given lots of extra information. We are now awaiting the next stage of the process and Maison de Campagne continue to give us support, help and friendly advice.
